THE CREATIVE SPACE

Time to Relax

This gorgeous spot is my thinking corner. This is my home. It's a place where I sleep, play, work, eat, meditate. Like most small apartments in Delhi, the outside view is nothing great to write about, but this flat has amazing natural light; due to its open plan layout that inspired me to create this light and fun living space for my family. I had to be extra creative to retain the sense of openness, but at the same time create privacy in each common areas.

NOSTALGIA

Time to Relax

It’s important to understand clients requirements but at the same time also important to understand clients lifestyle, work habits, a bit of background and hobbies. Better understanding of the nuances also help to come up with a style that reflects the clients personality as opposed to a place that is out of an interior design magazine.
During our many discussions I realised that my client was nostalgic about their hometown. I did my research and picked on elements to reflect that on the design thus bringing a little bit of memory of their roots around them. This couple, works long hours and also works from home at times. So I tried to create a space that helps them start the day with yoga and mediation and end it with a relaxing atmosphere surrounded with nature and touches of their home in the hills.

PRIVATE SPACE

Fun & Functional

This is a modern functional space at a tight budget. We created the right balance of look for a kids space that he can grow into a young adult with just change of upholstery. The home office was also right balance of warmth, fun and comfort that one can work in for long hours. The result is a place of balance and beauty, in harmony with its surroundings. REJUVENATE

Elegant and Traditional

This gorgeous property has lots of green view, and gave us a chance to simplify the interiors to direct focus on its green surrounding. We simplified the vertical surfaces with solid and self designed colours. Then threw in traditional accent furniture, lamps and motifs on floor tiles. By a blend of colour choices, textures and soft furnishings we managed to reflect th elegance and traditional personality of the client. Do you love this look?
